Certainly every regular social user, and in particular every Istagram lover, will have already had the opportunity to relate to the world of #hashtag and he will have even used them himself.

But before submerging a post or hashtag content it is good to understand what their features are so that you can take advantage of their potential to the best.

A Hashtag (a word or phrase preceded by the hash sign - #), is a label which allows you to categorize content on social media, and very often also on Internet pages and blogs.

We focus, as always, on the Instagram platform: here the Hashtag can be considered a search engine; many are, in fact, users who search for specific content starting from the hashtag.

With the rise in popularity of hashtags, the creation of particularly recognizable labels has consequently been generated: it is easy to understand that inserting a particularly popular increase the chances that your content will land in the eyes of a wider audience.

But like all social tools, the Hashtag is also a 'double edged weapon: inserting popular (but not very relevant!) hashtags in your content for the simple purpose of increasing views can have a catastrophic effect on credibility of your own page or profile.

So our advice is: many strategic and relevant Hashtags, but no spam!
